Q: Does Grabagun.com handle transfers?
A: We're delighted to offer firearm transfer services at our GrabAGun.com Coppell, Texas, storefront. However, there are a few important points to keep in mind to ensure a smooth process:
- The shipment must originate from a licensed FFL Dealer (Federal Firearms Licensed Dealer).
- The shipment must include a copy of the sending FFL Dealer's current FFL certificate, along with your name and contact information.
- If you're purchasing from an individual seller, kindly ask them to work with a trusted local FFL Dealer who can facilitate the shipment to Grabagun.com. Please note that we do not accept transfers shipped directly from individuals; they will be returned to the sender.
If you need to provide the seller or shipping FFL Dealer with a copy of our FFL certificate for the shipment, you can request it by emailing us at support@grabagun.com. When making the request, please include:
- The email address or fax number for sending the FFL certificate.
- Your name and contact information as the purchaser.
- If applicable, the order number for your firearm purchase (note: individual sellers may not assign order numbers).
Alternatively, you can call our customer service department at (972) 552-7246 during our normal business hours to request a copy of our FFL certificate to be sent to the seller or shipping FFL Dealer.
Upon receiving your request and necessary details, we'll promptly send a copy of our current FFL certificate to the recipient. Typically, this process takes just one business day.
When you visit our storefront to take ownership of the purchased firearm, the transfer fee is $30.00 for standard items and $75.00 for NFA items. It's important to note that we do not charge a transfer fee for firearms and NFA items purchased directly from us.
